G-star RAW partners with Afrojack for limited edition sunglasses

With two collaborative capsule collections under their belt, denim pioneers G-Star RAW and acclaimed, multi-platinum selling, Grammy winning DJ/producer Afrojack have teamed up for the third time, creating a limited-edition pair of sunglasses.

Made in Afrojack’s favourite finish of matte black, with lenses specially coated for a blue-mirror tint, the limited-edition sunglasses are based on the popular Fat Tacoma shape – now iconic to the G-Star Eyewear range.

With just 300 pieces produced, each pair of sunglasses comes gift boxed with certificate, and engraved with their individual number.

In addition to the features distinct to all G-Star Eyewear, from the straight-cut lenses (inspired by original aviator goggles that were made from everyday glass) to the industrial-screw shaped hinges, Afrojack added a gunmetal straight top-bar.

The limited edition sunglasses retail at AED 1277 and are available as of 15th May 2015 online on g-star.com.

G-Star RAW first hit the UAE market in 2005 and now has boutique stores in Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Deira City Centre, Mirdif City Centre, and Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai – as well as Yas Mall and Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi.
