Treating their elegant guests to a decadent menu, PLAY’S Director of Culinary Reif Othman has become the talk of the town for his signature Mediterrassian cuisine that focuses on innovative recipes and combinations you wont find elsewhere. “Our desserts are just as remarkable as the rest of our famous menu! We have worked very hard in creating infusions of flavours that are rare, luscious and quench insatiable sugar cravings,” explains Chef Reif.
Everyday I’m Truffling, Chef Reif’s personal favourite, is made using real truffles. The dessert is a Truffle Crème Brule with white chocolate sorbet, pink peppercorn cream and grated fresh seasonal truffle. PLAY’s most popular, Sneaker Bar is a scrumptious pistachio chocolate bar served with caramelized pistachio and pistachio ice cream. The ambrosial Le Rocher is a chocolate concoction that resembles the shape of a crown.
The exemplary dessert menu also includes a date pudding called Sticky Dating that is served with Macha ice cream and date butterscotch sauce. Their chocolate fondant, Nut Conscious is oozed in the center with peanut butter and garnished with vanilla ice cream is sensational. Potted accents a meringue plant with chocolate apple crumble disguising as crumbly mud. The elaborate desserts also include Olaf, a distinctive coconut snowball garnished with spiced pineapple compote and burnt flour crumbs; and Apple of my Eye that is a lavish warm cinnamon honey apple with dates preparation served with rosemary ice cream.
