& Other Stories’ ateliers in Paris and Stockholm designed a collection each for the AW/17 season, reflecting their respective aesthetics. The Paris Atelier focuses on a rich bohemian expression with a nod to the 1960s, while the Stockholm Atelier balances contrasting elements for a modern look. Together, they provide a diverse season filled with endless styling choices.
From the Paris Atelier
“This collection is for a woman who loves to create her own style, mixing-and-matching colours and prints that make her heart beat faster.”
Georgine Le Toqueux, Designer, & Other Stories
AW/17 from the Paris Atelier reveals an eclectic and feminine expression reminiscent of the 1960s. Swept up in intricate floral prints and sharp stripes, the silhouette redefines the notion of a mix-and-match look. The romance of a decorated mini dress converges with the ever-lasting appeal of a striped blouse and hooded jacket in this season’s story. A moody colour palette of burgundy, red, and navy with gold elements can be found throughout the collection. Signature accessories such as turban headbands, elaborate jewellery and beaded shoes, all embrace the rich bohemian side of & Other Stories.
From the Stockholm Atelier
“This season is a dynamic play of opposites, capturing the elusive balance of an unforced and contemporary look.”
Behnaz Aram, Designer, & Other Stories
The Stockholm Atelier presents an AW/17 collection filled with clashing elements that are influenced by retro Russian athleticism and gothic beauty. Decked out in bright red, burgundy, beige and lilac, this season makes a strong and colourful impression. The hooded jacket’s versatile aspects are explored together with high collar tops, a sharp pinafore dress and a well-cut coat, fearlessly paired with a shiny cap, puffer scarf, patent gloves and over-the-knee boots. Together, these looks present a contemporary silhouette and reveal a darker mood from & Other Stories.
