Landmark Group, the region’s leading retail and hospitality conglomerate, has announced the ninth edition of its popular Beat Diabetes Walk to be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Dubai Creek Park.
Organised to educate UAE residents about diabetes and the need to make healthy lifestyle choices, the walk has become a regular fixture in the country’s health and fitness calendar.

In addition to the Walk, Landmark Group raises funds through its 590 outlets towards supporting diabetes research, awareness and education with Al Jalila Foundation throughout November (World Diabetes Awareness month).
The 3-kilometre Beat Diabetes Walk at Dubai Creek Park will be followed by blood glucose testing, fitness activities like Zumba and Yoga by Landmark’s own Fitness First, spot fitness challenges and dance routines. Kids will be entertained at a children’s sports zone, with DJ and live entertainment creating a carnival atmosphere. Interested participants can also be taken through diabetes management methods.
Online registrations for the annual Beat Diabetes Walk in the UAE can be completed at www.beatdiabetes.me, with early bird prizes up for grabs.
All registered participants will receive a walk-kit comprising a Beat Diabetes T-shirt, cap and a special gift by courier.
