Who: Lady Gaga, 2018 Grammy Awards Nominee, Performer & Presenter
Makeup By: Sarah Tanno, Marc Jacobs Beauty Global Artistry Ambassador
Inspiration: “Gaga’s eyes were inspired by a dark starry night. Romantic and striking to complement her gorgeous Armani Privé gown.” – Sarah Tanno
Makeup Tips/Techniques: Sarah began Gaga’s look with the newest Marc Jacobs Beauty Shameless Youthful-Look 24-H Longwear Foundation SPF 25 in shade Y270. As the foundation is luminous and self-setting, she didn’t have to use a ton of powder – a dream come true for a flawless finish! Sarah then applied a soft veil of pink blush on Gaga’s cheeks with Marc Jacobs Beauty Air Blush Soft Glow Duo in 504 Kink & Kisses, a pale petal/peachy rose duo. Next, she tapped a bit of Marc Jacobs Beauty Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter to the high points of the face for a sheer, elegant glow.
For the eyes, Sarah rimmed Gaga’s eyes heavily with Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Blacquer 42 and then blended the liner all over the lid. Next, she created a sharp winged liner shape using Marc Jacobs Beauty Magic Marc’er Precision Pen Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Blacquer. Sarah then blended the soft shimmery peach shadow from Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Glambition all the way to the brow bone. She used the shimmery black shadow from Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Edgitorial to blend the liners together for the desired winged shape. Sarah finished the eye look with a few coats of her favorite Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara, followed by a few taps of loose silver glitter.
For the lips, Sarah used Marc Jacobs Beauty Poutliner Longwear Lip Liner Pencil in Prim(rose) 304 and the new Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick in Cream & Sugar, a peachy-rose nude shade.
