CATTIER, A PRECIOUS BRUT ROSÉ

The Cattier House has been asserting its presence in Champagne decade after decade, century after century. Since 1625, the family has had a history of winegrowing, with a vineyard in Chigny Les Roses, on the Montagne de Reims. At that time, she did not make wine, but she did in 1916. From 1918, the first vintages arrived on the market. Since then, each generation has worked to preserve and enhance this heritage.

Made from 40% pinot meunier, 40% pinot noir and 20% chardonnay, the Brut Rosé1er Cru reveals itself with a salmon color. With notes of blackcurrant, raspberry, pink grapefruit, this champagne oscillates between freshness and a relative amplitude. A slightly chalky aftertaste, and a nice acidity deliver a certain length in mouth. Very subtly vinous due to the pinot noir, the wine plays the unexpected. Elegant notes with a slightly greedy side, arouse delectation. Established on a rather chalky terroir, linked to the Montagne de Reims, it retranscribes its characteristics. The fragrances, the tastes, the slightly salivating side, enthuse the tasting. The grapefruit notes are precise. Gastronomy can be easily envisaged with this wine. Carpaccio of scallops, extrapolated dill, half-cooked veal, in delicacy, the pleasures become obvious.

Note that the House offers a one-hour delivery. Fresh, ready to taste, the champagnes of the Collection can be ordered 7 days a week, between noon and 10 pm. A real service for every precious moment, unexpected or otherwise. To be considered very soon, for Valentine’s Day,…
