PHOTO EXHIBITION CHERE EUGENIE AT GUERLAIN

“Dear Eugenie…”

LE FLACON AUX ABEILLES VU PAR 11 FEMMES PHOTOGRAPHES Chère Eugénie is an exhibition in homage to the Flacon aux Abeilles, the oldest bottle of perfume which celebrates today its 170th anniversary.

On January 30, 1853, Pierre François-Pascal Guerlain, the founder of the House, created a custom-made perfume and an exceptional bottle for Eugenie de Montijo when she became Empress.

By inviting eleven women artists to revisit this iconic object, Guerlain wants to let creativity take over the codes of this legendary bottle and allow each woman to establish an intimate dialogue with the Empress.

The Empress’s bee bottle will be presented in the exhibition, taken from our archives for the occasion.
