For the first time in nearly 95 years, Oswald is the star of a brand new short film from Walt Disney Animation Studios: &#8220;Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>Givenchy&#8217;s Artistic Director, Matthew M. Williams, draws his inspiration from the four corners of the world, from New York to Paris, via Los Angeles, Shanghai and Tokyo. For this collaboration, the designer worked with Disney to imagine a &#8220;one-of-a-kind world tour&#8221; that combines Oswald&#8217;s mischievous and energetic spirit with Givenchy&#8217;s aesthetic, in a capsule collection that captures that spirit of adventure.<\/p>\n<p>Women&#8217;s essentials include a blue teddy with white sleeves and Givenchy and Paris lettering showing Oswald the lucky rabbit offering a flower to his sweetheart, Ortensia. In a bright red oversized shirt and sports outfit with shorts, Oswald appears on a horse singing. The two characters come back as graffiti, through multicolored patterns on jeans and jackets.<\/p>\n<p>The multi-colored t-shirts convey messages of love and recount the magic of a visit to Paris, while hoodies, tank tops and sweatpants incorporate the 4G emblem, stylized as a heart, and the Magic Kingdom, in off-white.<\/p>\n<p>For the men, a red teddy shows Oswald riding a wild horse to Los Angeles, while the character can be found surrounded by bandana designs on a blue shirt. On the jeans, we find Oswald accompanied by a red horseshoe for good luck. T-shirts with the letters GIVENCHY display key words and locations, such as &#8220;Lucky&#8221; and &#8220;New York City.&#8221; On sweatshirts and tracksuits, we discover him ready to fight.<\/p>\n<p>A wide range of accessories completes the collection and includes Givenchy x Oswald sneakers, card holders, tote bags, small shoulder bags, phone or headphone cases, and caps.<\/p>\n<p>The Oswald Disney X Givenchy capsule collection will be available from December 16 in China, Singapore and in the Tokyo Ikebukuro pop-up store, as well as the Miami Aventura pop-up store on December 19.
