The two Yale students bonded over a mutual love for the rich and intricate textiles adorning India\u2019s inhabitants and have tried to translate the aesthetic for western consumption. \u201cOur FW12 collection is a modern approach to hand block printed fabric on classic, feminine and comfortable silhouettes. This ancient Indian technique allows us to execute precise graphic prints while also emanating the artistry and intimacy of the human hand,\u201d state the design duo.<br \/>\nThe palette is vibrant, but not excessive. Hues of orchid purple, raspberry and neon blue are enough to lift one\u2019s spirit on a cold winter day. Black and white bow tie and Lila dot patterned dresses were our favourites. The plumberry and magenta dresses also worked, but sadly the colour blocking took away from the garments.
