SOULLAND AW13 “HOME VS. AWAY” COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK
For Autumn/Winter 2013 Soulland is taking you to a mid-nineteenth century baseball game in Japan.
“Team jerseys, baseball mascots and the fan club culture obviously played a central inspirational role for the season. We were particularly inspired by the art of Japanese baseball cards produced from the early 1900s to the 1960s. One of the most characteristic items in the collection is a line of Oxford shirts with hand drawn prints inspired by Japanese vintage baseball cards.”
A novelty of the season is a new line of suits in a wool mix; the main colors for the season are off-white, beige, grey and navy mixed with a royal blue and an eye-catching magenta.
During the Copenhagen show, two new collaborations were furthermore presented: an exclusive line of bags with renowned Danish accessories brand Adax, including travel bags, tote bags, laptop sleeves and wallets, as well as a line of socks in colorways and prints matching the Soulland ‘Home vs Away’ collection in collaboration with Democratique Socks.
