BERLINALE 2023 – ELSA JIN FOR ADRIEN BRODY
On February 18, American actor Adrien Brody will wear the Bamboo Slats brooch by Elsa Jin on the red carpet of the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival to present the film Manodrome, directed by John Trengove. Jewelry artist Elsa Jin creates true works of art inspired by her culture, her childhood and her travels. The four winged brooches in her LIFE series, created during the pandemic, combine the brilliance of diamonds with the sparkle of precious stones (aquamarine, emerald, padparadscha sapphire, red rhodolite) to deliver a vibrant tribute to artisans and a message of hope for humanity.
Elsa Jin’s work has been exhibited at the Paris Biennale in 2021 and at COUTURE Las Vegas in 2021 and 2022. His Heavenly Colors, which pays homage to Dunhuang County, was awarded the gold medal for ‘Jewerly Design’ at the 12th Florence Biennale in 2019, among other honors.

The 73rd edition of the Berlin International Film Festival, which will take place from February 16 to 23, will feature 19 international films in competition and its jury will be presided over by the American actress Kristen Stewart.
