Faconner - "Формировать, делать, лепить, производить".
Façonner is a fashion and interior design company comprised of PR, Editorial, Boutique and Styling. Appertaining to the meaning of its name, ‘to shape, to fashion, to mould, to manufacture’, Façonner’s purpose is to advocate good design.
The company recently launched the collections of three designers selectively chosen by Francesca Barrow for Façonner on the final day of London Fashion Week at The Playboy Club in Mayfair. The first models to strut down the catwalk were wearing Fotini Vergini‘s pieces. The highlights of the collection included a top made out of a pair of leather gloves wrapped around the bust, a black and beige quarter length wrap taffeta skirt and a black cape-shaped jacket with beige harem trousers.
The second collection by Katarina Pahlson imparted the work of only two colours; black and white as it took its inspiration from a Harlequin.
Finally, the work of designer Sami Korhonen was presented to the audience. Consisting mostly of evening gowns, the collection included pieces such as a long green silk-satin, halter-neck dress with black lace on either side of the bust, synched waist and draping open back with a diamante salamander outlining the spine. It was styled with jewellery from Carole Tanenbaum’s vintage collection selected by Noelle Reno.
