Kris Van Assche, best known for his outstanding work for Dior Homme as well as his own eponymous brand has landed himself yet another collaboration. Forever a hyperactive designer, Kris seems to be the kind to enjoy challenges on a regular basis and explore his creative possibilities through different ways.
With this Spring/Summer 2013Eastpak collaboration, the rawer and more youthful sides of Kris’ designs are brought to life on the infamous Eastpak bags.
With a touch remiding us ever so slightly of his previous works, Kris Van Assche mixes fabric patches and panels within a mostly monochrome collection (if you except that one cerulean backpack). The fans of Kris’ work will be delighted to find his signature details including (but not limited to) : the use of leather, the versatility of many bags which can be carried different ways…All in all the collection is the middle point between the old school/rebellious attitude emerging from Eastpak ethos and the dapperness  of the Kris Van Assche gentleman.
