Appertaining to the meaning of its name, &#8216;to shape, to fashion, to mould, to manufacture&#8217;, Fa\u00e7onner&#8217;s purpose is to advocate good design.<br \/>\nThe company recently launched the collections of three designers selectively chosen by Francesca Barrow for Fa\u00e7onner\u00a0on the final day of London Fashion Week at The Playboy Club in Mayfair.\u00a0The first models to\u00a0strut down\u00a0the catwalk were wearing\u00a0<strong>Fotini Vergini<\/strong>&#8216;s\u00a0pieces.\u00a0The highlights of the collection included\u00a0a top made out of a pair of leather gloves wrapped around the bust, a black and beige quarter length wrap taffeta skirt and a black cape-shaped jacket with beige harem trousers.<br \/>\nThe second collection by <strong>Katarina Pahlson<\/strong> imparted the work of only two colours; black and white as it took its inspiration from a Harlequin.<br \/>\nFinally, the work of designer <strong>Sami Korhonen<\/strong> was presented to the\u00a0audience. Consisting\u00a0mostly of evening gowns,\u00a0the collection included pieces such as a long green silk-satin, halter-neck dress with black lace on either side of the bust, synched waist and draping open back with a diamante salamander outlining the spine.
