Located in the heart of the city, just steps away from the Opera House, this luxury hotel offers a unique experience to its guests. We were able to stay there and experienced an absolutely unique moment.<\/p>\n\n<p>Upon entering, we were struck by the grandeur of the establishment and the majesty of the exposed stone. The d\u00e9cor, inspired by the Enlightenment, was created by the famous decorator Jacques Garcia and offers a mix of classicism and cosiness. The hotel is composed of three 18th century mansions, superbly arranged.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Home from Home - InterContinental Bordeaux - Le Grand Hotel\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/asdLIzSm4cg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<p>To celebrate Christmas in style, the InterContinental Bordeaux Le Grand invites you to discover its gourmet delights and its grandiose decor. This luxury establishment, located in the heart of the city, opposite the Bordeaux Opera House, was entirely restored in 2007 under the direction of the famous interior designer Jacques Garcia. It has a gourmet restaurant with two stars in the Michelin Guide 2022, Le Pressoir d&#8217;Argent Gordon Ramsay, as well as a restaurant with a terrace, Le Bordeaux.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.luxsure.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/IMG20221020095335-scaled-1-1024x768.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-468842\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>We particularly enjoyed on the rooftop in a winter bubble that allowed us to admire the sunset while tasting great wines from the Bordeaux region. Starting in winter 2021, the Grand Hotel will open the doors to its Rooftop in a brand new form through a glassed-in winter terrace with In The Moon For Wine, a pop-up wine bar. Five different Grands Crus experiences are to be discovered each month through a service of Grands Crus by the glass. All this accompanied by a catering offer with local flavors prepared to measure by Chef Romain Lorenzon, a unique night experience with your head in the stars&#8230;<\/p>\n\n<p>For the holidays, the hotel is adorned with sumptuous decorations, with a 4-meter tree adorned with golden and white Flacons of Bees in homage to the Guerlain perfumery house. This prestigious brand also designed the d\u00e9cor of the Orangerie, where a new culinary event is held: the Tea-Time signed by Guerlain. On the menu, a selection of sweet creations inspired by the perfumes &#8220;L&#8217;Art &amp; La Mati\u00e8re&#8221;, as well as Guerlain miniatures and a gift voucher to enjoy access to the Guerlain spa during your next visit.<\/p>\n\n<p>But the InterContinental Bordeaux Le Grand does not stop there. The hotel also features a Guerlain Spa, voted &#8220;Best Luxury Spa with Rooftop&#8221; in Europe in 2020. What can we say about this grandiose spa with its ancient accents? It is simply spectacular and wonderful.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.luxsure.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/unnamed-2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-468840\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>This spa opens onto a terrace with an exceptional view of the city&#8217;s rooftops, which was awarded the 2022 Vill\u00e9giature Prize for &#8220;Best Hotel Terrace&#8221;. And for Christmas 2022, the hotel has created a Christmas log in the shape of a beehive, a singular work designed by a member of the pastry team who is passionate about the work of bees. The Christmas Hive is a gourmet and impressive log, like a piece of silverware, which includes a real honeycomb, 4 pots of honey from the Queen&#8217;s Swarm and a dessert. It is available in a limited edition (15 copies) for 8 people at a price of 140 euros (order required 72 hours in advance).
