Bryce Aime A/W11 – London Fashion Week

Season after season, Bryce Aime continues to reaffirm his individual style, focussing on unusual graphic prints, and this collection is no exception.

Whether it be through the strong and harsh tailored jackets, teamed with leggings – a recurrent element in the designer’s style – or even the more classically cut dresses with skater skirts in champagne or black, Aime worked on contrasts between wool, jersey, silk and metallic textures, enhanced by the futuristic astrological print that gives the collection a unique twist.

With a colour palette revolving around grey, white and metallic shades, Bryce Aime’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection offers a strong, authoritative silhouette. Although named “Militarium”, there definitely is a futuristic feeling about it – reinforced by the architectural  headpieces, which gave the impression that models just got off a spaceship.

This season also marks the collaboration between Bryce Aime and bag designer Bracher Emden, who notably created a remarkable backpack for this collection.
