Les hommes d'eau iconiques de NAUTICA Automne/Hiver 2012
ailmakers, dockhands, admirals, and coastal prepsters were the inspiration for Chris Cox’s NAUTICA Fall/Winter 2012 Collection. These iconic watermen of the northeastern American coast are natural muses for the nautical brand. The collection is anchored in navy blue and white with pops of red, green, and yellow particularly in the outerwear. Fabrics ran the gamut from denim, to wool, flannel, and nylon.
Although the collection was influenced by watermen, it was literally divided into groups: 1) sailmaker, 2) coastal prepsters, 3) admirals, and 4) dockhands. Highlights include the bold outerwear, sports coats, fishermen’s sweaters, dress shirts, chinos, and boat shoes. Classic NAUTICA at its best.
