La nouvelle collection Azzaro couture par Oliver Theyskens

A silhouette with fluid and sophisticated lines permeates the Azzaro night.

Olivier Theyskens sublimates the couture codes by striking the right balance between opposites, merging blur and structure, light and shadow, glamour and sobriety.

Sharp asymmetries cut the silhouette in an interlacing of pure modernist lines. Marked shoulders or an abysmal neckline answer to a long slit stretching from the bottom to the top of the dresses. Embroidery of pearls, crystals and sequins of all sizes compete with the brilliance of liquid lamé, and necklace and chain embellishments animate the scallops of dark silk crepe models, dotting the collection with their multiple sparkles.

Both feminine and masculine silhouettes respond to each other in shiny or icy materials in a sober palette of blacks punctuated with silver, iridescence and pure white. In a series of jewel-like micro-dresses, microblades of sparkling sequins can be found on a man’s suit.
