Breathtaking views, unique gastronomic and cultural experiences and privileged access for insiders await guests

Paris, France, February 10 – Following the success of the launch of Four Seasons Drive Experience in Tuscany, the leader in luxury hotels announces two new routes for 2023 to discover the most popular destinations in the Alps and the North American capital of food and wine, Napa Valley.

Behind the wheel of a luxury vehicle, guests can expect exceptional dining experiences, personalized itineraries and privileged access to local talent and unique cultural offerings, allowing them to discover each destination from a new perspective. The Four Seasons Drive through the Alps, June 12-18, and the Four Seasons Drive through Napa Valley, October 29-November 4, will offer new experiences to best discover these new destinations. When not on the road, guests participating in the Alpine Experience will stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Des Bergues Geneva et le Four Seasons Hotel Megève. In Napa Valley, travelers will stay at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley.

Four Seasons Drive Experience in the heart of the Alps, June 12-18, 2023

The week-long itinerary will begin at the Four Seasons Hotel Des Bergues Geneva, which will serve as a home base, with an enchanting view of Lake Geneva and the iconic backdrop of the snow-capped Alps. A welcome dinner will provide the perfect setting to get to know your fellow travelers. During their stay in Geneva, guests will visit the village of Gruyère, considered one of the most beautiful villages in the region, it is also the birthplace of the famous Swiss cheese. Afterwards, they will embark on a panoramic tour of Lavaux, a UNESCO World Heritage Site terraced vineyard – a 30 km stretch of cultivated land with beautiful hillside terraces, before being accompanied to historic wineries dating back to the Middle Ages for a tasting of Swiss wines and cheeses.

Over the next few days, travelers will head to the final destination of Megeve, stopping along the way to learn about the timeless art of watchmaking – from design and prototype development to machining. The afternoon will include a thrill ride through the Chateau d’Avully, known for its towering towers and iconic architecture, before arriving at the Four Seasons Hotel Megeve to rest and recharge.

The Megeve program includes an exhilarating journey through the heart of the Alps to the city of Annecy, while winding through the mythical Aravis roads and steep mountains; a visit to the Mont Blanc massif – an impressive mountain range offering 360 degree views of the French, Swiss and Italian Alps; and an excursion to the Grand Saint Bernard pass which connects Italy and Switzerland to conclude the journey back to Megeve.

Four Seasons Drive Experience through Napa Valley, October 29 to November 4, 2023

This itinerary for food and wine lovers focuses on the best wineries and culinary experiences that promise to invigorate the palate and tantalize the taste buds. In one of North America’s food and wine capitals, guests will arrive at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley, where they will spend the seven-day program.

The trip will begin with a celebration of innovative gastronomy – a welcome dinner at the property’s Vineyard Barn, whose architectural design embodies Napa’s rich agricultural heritage, framed by picturesque forests and sweeping mountain views. The next day will begin with a drive with panoramic views to Tomales Bay for an immersion in the world of oyster farming, followed by a gourmet lunch overlooking the bay. In the evening, guests will enjoy a sumptuous dinner designed to awaken the senses, enhanced by local wines.

The next few days will be dedicated to discovering unique aromas and immersing yourself in fragrant wine notes by visiting some of Napa’s most renowned wineries, available only to Four Seasons Drive Experience guests, including Opus One Winery, a collaboration between two of the most esteemed winemakers: Baron Philippe de Rothschild of Chateau Mouton Rothschild and Robert Mondavi.

For the final days of the itinerary, guests will take a private ferry ride around San Francisco Bay and finish this seven-day experience in the clouds with hot air balloon rides that offer panoramic views of vineyards and rolling mountains.
