London Fashion Week: The Exhibition at Somerset House

From Friday 19th February and for five days, Somerset House will host London Fashion Week’s exhibition. Spread across five floors, the exhibition is a great opportunity to browse through a variety of outstanding fashionable items from over 200 designers. The final list of exhibitors is yet to be confirmed but we can already say without a doubt this editions is set to be a hit with new names and independent designers such as La Petite Salope, Nicholas King, YesMaster, Ada Zanditon, Christopher Raeburn  and many more, beside more established brands like Linda Farrow, Les Nereides, Patrick Cox, Opening Ceremony NY…

The exhibition will also include feature areas NEWGEN and estethica.

NEWGEN, created in 1993 by the British Fashion Council and sponsored by Topshop, showcases and promotes new designers – and NEWGEN designers are among the must-see collections every season! Peter Pilotto, Holly Fulton, Maria Francesca Pepe and a few other great talents, all winners AW2010, will present their work at the exhibition, as well as on the catwalk for some of them.

This is the seventh season for estethica, the BFC’s eco-sustainable initiative sponsored by Monsoon. Aiming to help ethical designers and co-curated by Orsola de Castro, founder of green label From Somewhere, Filippo Ricci and the BFC, estethica has selected about 30 designers including The North Circular, Nina Dolcetti, Ada Zanditon, GoodOne, Minna…

The exhibition at Somerset House is open for the duration of the women’s wear shows: 19th-23rd February – 10am-7pm. Somerset House, Strand, London WC2R L1A. More information on www.londonfashionweek.co.uk
