RIMOWA reveals new colors: Mango and Bamboo

RIMOWA has renewed its selection of Essential suitcase colours with two fresh seasonal hues that evoke the balmy atmosphere of far-flung locales: Mango and Bamboo.

Inspired by Thailand’s famed floating markets, the Essential’s newest pastel-coloured palette conjures up the alluring displays of products sold by vendors on Bangkok’s bustling waterways. Mango, corresponding to a bright and sunny orange, nods to the country’s ubiquitous fruit, whose juicy flesh is a staple in many of their most beloved dishes. Bamboo, reflecting a soft shade of light green, echoes the soothing properties of the locally-grown grass, which is used in everything from construction to cuisine. To accessorize the case, a trio of colourful stickers that evoke Thailand’s vibrant culture are available.

For a monochromatic appearance, the new RIMOWA Essential range is expertly matched to every component.

RIMOWA has also launched several key accessories with the same seasonal colours. The RIMOWA Personal, a cross-body bag crafted from the same grooved polycarbonate as the Essential suitcase, is now available in Bamboo. In addition, iPhone cases in Mango and Bamboo are also available for the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max.

These three sizes, Cabin (RRP  555 €), Check-In L (RRP 715 €) and Trunk Plus (RRP 880 €), the RIMOWA Essential in Mango and Bamboo, the RIMOWA Personal in Bamboo (RRP  980 €), and the RIMOWA iPhone cases in Mango and Bamboo (RRP  70 €), and the RIMOWA Thailand-inspired Sticker Set (RRP 25 €) are available in China since May 19th, 2021.

They will be available also worldwide, in RIMOWA stores and online, from June 17th, 2021.
