Monaco: in Techonomy’s pole position

Long known for its jet-set magnet glamorous events, luxury shops, attractive tax system for HNWI and its high-end real estate, the Principality is now a major destination for technological innovation, thanks to its digital laws and Web3 projects.

Nearly a thousand digital companies are based in Monaco and have a turnover totaling near a billion euros, a 6% increase compared to last year, according to a study by IMSEE Monaco Statistics.

At The MEWS – Metaverse World Summit second edition, organized by Advance Monaco, on May 3 to 5, under the theme “Eyes to the Future”, we were able to discover and learn more about S.A.S Prince Albert II initiative, supported by a world-class local and international ecosystem.

The DWorld VR company for example, created by Manila Di Giovanni, enables an immersive visit of the Principality in the Metaverse. From the most emblematic landmarks to private apartments: every square foot is now accessible from all over the world. Several brands have also opened shops and showrooms.

Whether it’s to nurture its citizens Digital passions and initiatives, or to facilitate Web3 companies located there, the Principality offers them an unprecedented wide range of solutions and opportunities.
