Brioni reopens the doors to its Miami store at Bal Harbour Shops.

Conceived as the residence of a Roman man living in Miami, the renewed Brioni store combines iconic Italian design with a quintessential Art Deco aesthetic and a color palette inspired by the American city, sculpting a harmonious space that is unmistakably Brioni.

Offering a new way for men’s shopping, the intention of the store concept is to be both a gallery of clothes and a destination point, in order to nurture a deep emotional connection with the customer through a unique yet understated luxury experience.

The 180 square meters space is composed by three areas which are conceived as a continuum space, defined by the change of experience and atmosphere, but all conveying the ultimate feeling of elegance and sophistication.

The façade of the store features two Italian components: a grey Marmorino plaster finishing and ‘Giallo Siena’, a yellow Italian marble platform, quarried out from the Sienese hills.

The first two rooms are characterized by light and sunny colours, where walnut wooden walls surround the perimeter. Against this sober canvas, a curated collection of Italian and international furniture, including pieces by Franco Albini, Gianfranco Frattini, Afra and Tobia Scarpa, Michael Anastassiades and a carpet by M.I.T.A., a Genoese manufacturer of hand-knotted carpets and tapestries that reissued two original mid-century designs exclusively for Brioni.

The Atlantic ocean inspires the third room, called Stanza Blu (Blue Room), for its signature blue colour. Here a Pierre Frey blue linen wallpaper is paired with a monumental tapestry titled ‘Le Barche’ and manufactured by M.I.T.A. in collaboration with artist Enrico Paulucci. Iconic furniture by Angelo Mangiarotti and Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni adds another Italian touch to the room.

In the space, Brioni’s heritage, its roots and its tailoring tradition merge with the present and the future. The store is home to the House’s ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear collection, as well as housing the Brioni Master Tailor, available by appointment for the Bespoke service.
