RIMOWA’S eyewear line expansion

After 120 years engineering premium luggage RIMOWA introduced a permanent eyewear collection that features contemporary sunglasses. A product category that has expanded further with the Spring/Summer 2021 collection, which showcases RIMOWA’s long lineage of product innovation, expert craftsmanship, and functional design.

The unisex RIMOWA Eyewear collection offers a fresh take on functional luxury. It is characterised by premium materials, a lightweight design, and a series of details that pay homage to RIMOWA’s iconic aesthetic.

The collection will introduce two new lines, respectivly RIMOWA Foldable and RIMOWA City, and additional shapes and colours introduced to RIMOWA Bridge. The RIMOWA “Foldable” is a compact design that places form and function at its core. It is a selection of hardwearing materials. End tips are lasered with grooves, while both the temple and over-injected nose pads are branded with the maison’s monogram. The new “foldable” frames will be available in Matte Black front and Solid Smoke polar lenses; Matte Silver front and Solid Green lenses; and Matte Grey Mercury front and Smoke Mirror lenses.

To ensure they remain protected, each piece of eyewear comes with a compact case.

From May 27th, the RIMOWA Bridge sunglasses (RRP 280 – 320€ for polarized versions) and the RIMOWA City sunglasses (RRP 350 €), will become available at selected RIMOWA stores worldwide and online at RIMOWA.com. The RIMOWA Foldable in Silver and Mercury (RRP 395€) and the RIMOWA Foldable in Matte Black (RRP 435€) will become available on June 17th.
