os Angeles-based luxury brand AMIRI is pleased to announce the opening of its first pop-up shop, situated in Dubai’s prestigious luxury destination Mall of The Emirates.
For the first time in the Emirates, the brand will be showcasing its Pre-Spring 2021 collection in a Californian’s setting, inspired by the architecture and spirit of its recently opened, first-ever retail store on Los Angeles’ iconic Rodeo Drive.
Established in 2014 by Founder and Creative Director Mike Amiri, AMIRI marries refined craftsmanship with the glamor of L.A.’s authentic rock and roll and street culture.
An L.A. native, Mike Amiri was influenced by the intertwining countercultures of the 90s and established a distinct design signature with his deconstructed, hand-embellished denim jeans, leather jackets, grungy flannel shirting and graphic tee-shirts — all grounded in the nostalgic touchstones of his Californian youth. As the brand grows in scale, AMIRI remains faithful to its roots: each garment is still a labor of love, cut from the finest fabrics, produced in majority in L.A.
AMIRI presents its main collections bi-annually at Paris Fashion Week.
